How to Apply to Live On-Campus

When you apply to live on campus you will be asked if they have received three vaccines - Meningococcal ACWY, Meningococcal B and Hepatitis B. You are not required to be vaccinated, but they are required to declare if they have been vaccinated or not, and to provide the dates if they have been vaccinated. Please have this information ready prior to logging in.

Read the directions below to help you get started with applying to live on-campus!

  1. 1. Gather info on if/when you had three important vaccines - Meningococcal B, Meningococcal ACWY, Hepatitis B.
  2.   Go to housing.findlay.edu, click on the hamburger at the top. The hamburger is like an equal sign, but with three lines.
  3. The hamburger opens a left side panel. Students will need to complete three sections from this panel - application, student profile, and meal plan (you do not meet a meal plan unless you are applying to live in a residence hall).
  4. In the "Applications" section select the New Student Housing Application. Please allow 15 minutes to complete the application.
  5. If you plan to live on campus, read the Housing Agreement carefully and sign it.
  6. Students can select up to four preferred residence locations understanding that assignments are made based on space available.
  7. Click on Student Profile to update personal info and emergency contacts. 
  8. If you would like to search for a roommate or allow others to search for you, complete the roommate profile. 
  9. Click on Meal Plans to select your meal plan. You only need to select a meal plan if you are living in a residence hall. Students can change their meal plan up to three times prior to the first Thursday of the semester. 
  10. If you would like to request a roommate, click on the Room Selection tab and follow the prompts. 
    1. ​Students can only request roommates that have already completed their housing application. If your desired roommate has not yet completed their application, please log back in later to complete this step.
    2. Students can use our system to search for potential roommates-Room Selection, Select Roommates.
