Mission: The mission of the Office of Sponsored Programs and
Professional Services (SPPS) is to establish a professional services mechanism
and expand grant services for faculty and staff to aid in garnering external
funding that will directly align with the University’s mission of “equipping
students for meaningful lives and productive careers”. In doing so, the SPPS
will be responsive to emerging opportunities for faculty/staff and students
within and outside of our institution.
Goal for Sponsored Programs: Sponsored Programs will support
student learning by assisting faculty members with proposals that expand
opportunities for undergraduate and graduate scholarship, research and creative
endeavors.
Goal for Professional Services: Professional Services will
support faculty/staff members in outreach opportunities that result in quality
university-community partnerships, thereby increasing opportunities for
innovative educational programs for students.
