Black History Month​​

​​The University of Findlay commemorates Black History Month with several wonderful events which have been organized by the Office of Intercultural Student Services. They include events that will be hosted by several campus offices and student organizations who have collaborated to provide our campus with many diverse opportunities to celebrate together.

The true story of a newly appointed African-American football coach and his high school team during their first season as a racially integrated group. Hosted by I.S.S.

"A Night with Coach Boone from Remember the Titans" Boone, who was portrayed by actor Denzel Washington in "Remember the Titans", will talk about overcoming  obstacles  and  share  his  life  experiences. The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center: The Faith to Freedom Tour
This is an open invitation for you to join us as we explore this historic museum that focuses on African American history. The Faith to Freedom Tour looks at faith leaders who were abolitionists and their role during this dark period of America's history.
