Great! You have planned a fun event for campus! Now you need to make sure people know about it.
In addition to sending emails and hanging up flyers, there are a few other ways you can promote your event to campus. You can make sure it is included in the official online calendar of events, listed on the campus TVs, included in the events widget in the Oiler Mobile app and part of the daily push notifications from the app that includes a list of the day's campus events.
The online calendar and the app are well-trafficked by the campus community. The online calendar has more than 3,000 impressions a month, and the Oiler Mobile app has more than 4,000 active users!
Making sure your event is included in these places is easy. All you have to do is go to the online calendar and click on the green "Post Your Event" button. Complete the form to submit your event. Once you have completed the form, the event will be included on the campus TVs, the calendar, the app and in the daily push notifications. Please plan ahead and allow four business days from the time you submit your event to when it is published.
If you don't have the Oiler Mobile app, just go to the App Store or Google Play from your phone and search for Oiler Mobile to download it to your phone.
