General Admission Requirements/Qualifications
To apply to one of The University of Findlay's graduate programs, you must meet the following criteria.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or meet specific graduate program admission requirements.
- Have a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale in the last 64 semester hours of undergraduate work.
Program Specific Admissions Requirements
In addition to the basic admissions requirements for graduate programs at UF, some of the graduate programs have additional admissions requirements applicants must meet in order to be considered for admission.

Doctor of Education Program
Requires a master's degree from an accredited institution, with
the possible exception of first-professional doctorate-degree holders,
specifically when no master's degree was offered (e.g., DPT and PharmD.)
Have a minimum graduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Pass the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) with a minimum score of 400.

Doctor of Pharmacy Program
Master of Athletic Training
Requires a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. This includes classes from all institutions attended. Complete a minimum of 75 observation hours under the direct supervision of a BOC-certified athletic trainer.

Master of Arts in Education Program
Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Writing
Requires a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in a previous masters degree. Students who would have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale may be considered for conditional acceptance, but must maintain a 3.0 GPA in the first nine hours of the Rhetoric program.

Master of Arts in TESOL Program
Master of Business Administration
Requires a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale in the last
60 hours undergraduate coursework, or have a minimum cumulative GPA or 3.0 in at
least nine hours of graduate course work or a previous master’s degree. This
includes classes from all institutions attended.

Master of Physician Assistant Program
Master of Science in Applied Security and Analytics
Requires a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a minimum cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale associated with a previous master's degree. This includes classes from all institutions attended. Fulfillment of prerequisite competencies, by demonstrated knowledge as a result of undergraduate transcripts or completion of appropriate undergraduate coursework or bridge courses. Final transcript evaluation will be at the discretion of the program director and faculty. Demonstrated work experience (minimum one year work experience or significant internship) required. Applicants must submit final transcripts from all institutions attended along with a resume documenting work experience.

Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management
Requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 or permission of the program director. Students must fulfill prerequisite competencies by demonstrated knowledge as a result of undergraduate transcripts or completion of bridge courses in mathematics/statistics, computers, chemistry, U.S. environmental laws and regulations and biology. Students must also demonstrate analytical skills through the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or by taking the bridge course ENVM 502 (Technical Review Course). This course does not provide credit towards the degree.
