Function:
Academic Program Review (APR) is a periodic, internal assessment that informs institutional decision-making and aids academic areas in reflecting on the growth, efficacy, and sustainability of their individual programs in relation to all other programs offered by the University. Four over-arching criteria guide this assessment: centrality, quality, demand, and income and cost. Institutional data as well as data derived from program metrics are used in these assessments.
2020-2021 Committee Goals
- Share income and cost snapshot data with programs for comparison to AY 2019-2020
- Conduct a holistic review of the current APR process in order to update the assessment in keeping with on-campus continuous improvement efforts
