Found Property
Found Property refers to any item that is found by an individual which does not belong to the individual.
All items found on University of Findlay property should be turned in at the Campus Police/Campus Security Office located in Lovett Hall. The property will be logged into an inventory system and will subsequently be held for a minimum of 30 days.
Lost Property
All persons who have lost property on the University of Findlay Campus will be directed to come to the Campus Police/Campus Security Office in person to claim their property. The owner will be required to show picture identification (UF Oiler One Card, State id, or valid drivers license).
30-Day Holding Period
All property found and turned into the Campus Police/Campus Security Office will be held for a minimum of 30 days. Property not claimed by the owner, will be donated to charitable or non-profit organizations.
