Inspire confidence, spark creativity, and enhance networking skills
The College of Business B.O.L.D. Student Ambassadors is made up of eight current students (two from each class) who were suggested by the College of Business Student-faculty and selected by the Dean. It is a way for students to have more of a voice in their educational experiences. The B.O.L.D. Student Ambassadors members are advocates for students and serve as a sounding board for the Dean on topics that directly impact students. They are also given the opportunity to implement new initiatives and take leadership roles on various projects.
The mission of the B.O.L.D. Student Ambassadors are to build the confidence of young business professionals by providing firsthand leadership, networking, and professional development experiences.
Goals of the B.O.L.D. Student Ambassadors:
- Inspire confidence
- Spark creativity and innovation
- Enhance networking and communication skills
- Improve comfort level when engaging with professionals

My name is Michael Malone, I am from Edgewater Maryland. I am a Sophomore Marketing Major here at the University of Findlay. I am a member of Findlay's Football team and Findlay's College of Business Student Advisory Board.
I decided to become a member of the College of Business Student Advisory Board to help others as well as motivate and inspire students to create a change. I also feel this is a great opportunity for networking and building real-world experiences of leadership.
Hi! my name is Kaylee Alarcon, and I’m from Perrysburg, Ohio. I am a freshman and outside the Student Advisory Board for the College of Business, I am on the University’s lacrosse team, a part of the American Chemical Society, Empowerment of Business Oriented Women, and the Sports and Event Business Experience Club.
I decided to join Student Advisory Board
because I think this is an amazing opportunity to network more and get more involved with our student body. I think it’s fair to say our group’s passion is to help the college of business reach its full potential because the college is only as good as its students are. I am so excited to help be the voice of business majors so we can get the absolute most from our four years at Findlay and always keep improving.

Also, the opportunities that this experience will provide me with is something that is and will be like any other, especially looking towards the future.
