Student Employment Overview

The Office of Student Employment offers assistance to students seeking part-time, temporary or summer employment via an online job posting board, the C.A.$.H. Network, located on the student intranet. Additional services provided include part-time and summer job fair offerings, professional skill-building workshops and assistance with community service work-study placement.

On-Campus Positions

Students must first be registered for classes and have completed an online Student Employment Application in order to apply for campus positions. A variety of positions are open to work-study eligible and non-work-study eligible students. Work-study is need-based financial aid. On-campus positions designated as work-study are available to students who are work-study eligible. To be eligible for work-study, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Students who qualify for work-study will be notified of their eligibility by the Office of Financial Aid on their financial aid award letter.

The Hiring Process

The student's application will be forwarded to departments at the student's request via the online application process on the C.A.$.H. Network. Each department reviews submitted applications, schedules interviews as necessary and makes an offer to the selected candidate. Students are not permitted to contact individuals and/or departments to inquire about positions or ask for jobs.
