The Division of Student Affairs is comprised of four areas: student success, student engagement, student life, and student safety & wellness. The offices and services within the area of student safety & wellness helps ​maintain a safe environment ​​for everyone​ during their Oiler experience. Campus Safety & University Police​

University of Findlay Campus Safety is available 24/7. It is comprised of security guards and certified armed police officers. The office enforces policies including parking on all campuses of the University along with laws of the City of Findlay and State of Ohio. The office also monitors the Code Blue Emergency Phones around campus. Services offered by Campus Safety include: escorts – medical and safety, locking/unlocking doors on campus, vehicle unlocks, vehicle jumpstarts, vehicles tire inflation, bicycle theft program – offering free bike locks, welfare checks, response to all emergency situations​​.

Counseling Services

University of Findlay Counseling Services staff members are trained, licensed professionals offering confidential, free services because we want you to get the most out of college and the most out of life. Located on campus, our services are confidential and free, and most importantly, we understand college issues first hand. Whether it’s homesickness, relationships, depression, family issues, anxiety, eating concerns, substance abuse, anger, trust, or self-esteem, we are here for you.​


Health Services

The Cosiano Health Center is a free walk-in clinic for students and Findlay employees​. Any student, regardless of insurance status, may use our services. The health center can provide general health assessments, numerous diagnostic tests, wound care, first aid, physicals as well as referrals to specialists in our area. The Cosiano Health Center is staffed daily by registered nurses and three days a week by a physician. No appointment is needed to see a nurse. Physician hours are by appointment.
