The Division of Student Affairs is comprised of four areas: student success, student life, and student safety & wellness. The offices and services within the area of student life support students in making the most out of their Oiler experience. Buford Center

​The Buford Center actively promotes a welcoming and supportive environment for the entire campus community. Offices housed within the Buford Center include Intercultural Student Services, International Education, Service, and Community Engagement. ​


Dining Services

Dining Services is a full-service dining operation that serves the entire campus community, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and visiting guests. ​


Facilities Scheduling and Events

The Office of Facilities Scheduling and Events is dedicated to providing year-round services for programs/events, conferences, and summer camps. Our mission is to provide services that allow students, faculty, and community groups to effectively manage classrooms and facilities that support student engagement in academics and community events.


Greek Life

Findlay has two national sororities (Phi Sigma Sigma and Sigma Kappa) and one national fraternity (Theta Chi). Greek Council serves as a governing body for UF's Greek community. ​


Housing and Residence Life

On-campus, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with students from across the United States and around the world. You'll have easy access to Shafer Library, the Alumni Memorial Union (AMU), the cardio and recreation centers, and many other campus resources. The hundreds of programs we offer will be available in your own backyard!

 

Intercultural Student Services

The Office of Intercultural Student Services' mission is to foster an inclusive and welcoming campus environment that respects and acknowledges diversity in all of its forms. We provide advocacy, support services, and culturally-based programs to help increase multicultural competence and educate our student body on the value of diversity. We are committed to enriching the overall quality of life for our underrepresented students by cultivating their personal and academic achievement, leadership, social development, and civic engagement.​


International Education

Education is about more than going to classes. At the University of Findlay, ​we strive to provide students with transformative experiences that lead to an international perspective and a deeper cultural understanding of the world. Findlay's Office of International Education is to prepare those in the university community to be successful members of the diverse, interconnected world of the 21st-century through study abroad, ​scholarships, and campus events.


Recreational Services

The student recreation center offers a basketball court, three volleyball courts, one tennis court, a three-lane walking/ jogging track, a racquetball court, video wall area, two billiards tables, two ping pong tables, equipment check-out area, locker rooms, two aerobics areas, a 3,500 square foot weight room, and a 5,500 square foot cardio center overlooking the entire recreation center.


Service and Community Engagement

​The Office of Service and Community Engagement links the University of Findlay to the local community through mutually beneficial service projects. We believe that the process known as Service-Learning will benefit the individual as well as the community in lasting ways.​


Student Activities

The University of Findlay’s Office of Student Activities, Commuter Services & Leadership Development offers numerous programming opportunities for students throughout the year which include series, sessions, and/or special events focus on developing networking, leadership & team-building skills, philanthropic participation, opportunities​ to attend creative arts & entertainment programming.  ​
