At University of Findlay and College of Pharmacy, we believe in the importance of diversity in both individuals and ideas. We strive to create a welcoming and supportive community where everyone can feel comfortable participating and expressing themselves.

Purpose
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee will ensure that the College of Pharmacy community through the didactic, experiential, and co-curricular components of the curriculum work to ensure that all members of the community are valued and celebrated. Upon graduating, our pharmacy students will have an education built on the principle that access to healthcare is equitable and appropriate for patients of all backgrounds.

Goals
  • Ensure that students are prepared to work toward health care equity by having a curriculum entrenched with high quality and appropriate material, emphasizing equity throughout the curriculum.
  • Ensure that all students, faculty, and staff are valued and heard, cultivating a sense of belonging within the College.
  • Raise awareness of DEI issues by including activities and training for all students, faculty, and staff of the College.
