Dual Degree Options

At the University of Findlay, it's possible to earn both a Pharm. D. and either a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI), forensic science, or a equestrian studies. We offer our pharmacy students the opportunity to make themselves extremely marketable as new pharmacy graduates, and we offer our students outstanding opportunities to get the very most out of their time at UF by simultaneously pursuing a second degree.

Earn a Master of Business Administation (MBA) degree along the way to a Pharm.D. An MBA is an excellent complement to a doctoral pharmacy degree to equip students with critical thinking and business and leadership skills. These pharmacists are well positioned for management positions to drive change in an ever-evolving healthcare system.

Earn a Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) along the way to a Pharm.D. This degree coupled with a Pharm.D. allows pharmacists to specialize in clinical informatics. These pharmacists are experts in patient safety and work closely with the entire healthcare team to identify needs, design workflows, prioritize projects and leverage resources to improve outcomes.

Earn a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science along the way to a Pharm.D. Forensic pharmacy is an application of the sciences of drugs to legal issues. Forensic pharmacists engage in work relating to litigation, the regulatory process, and the criminal justice system. Forensic pharmacy overlaps with many other forensic fields.

Earn an Associate of Science in Equestrian Studies along the way to a Pharm.D. With our outstanding facilities, training, and education in western, hunter/jumper, dressage, and eventing, Findlay has set the standard for excellence in equestrian programs for more than 30 years. Having a degree in a program such as our equestrian studies is an excellent stepping stone for student pharmacists pursuing a career related to animal care.
