Workday Finance Training​​

​Hello UF Colleagues,


Workday Finance training is on the books! As you will remember, Workday FIN (Finance) is the second phase of our Workday implementation plan and, like Workday HCM (that just went into production), will be streamlining and simplifying current financial transactions.

Who will be impacted by Workday Finance?

Workday Finance impacts any employee who purchases items or services, utilizes UF credit cards, receives travel or expense reimbursements, and/or manages cost center revenue and expenses.

Training Topics

Employee Expense Reports and Credit Card Reconciliation

In this training, we will go over how to submit expense reports and do credit card reconciliation, along with the approval workflow for both processes. We will also show how Workday Mobile can be used to submit expense reports.

Procurement

In this training, we will go over requisitions/PO, Blanket PO, creating receipts, creating supplier invoices, how to request suppliers, and the approval workflow process. We will show how suppliers and catalogs are accessible and how to connect to supplier websites through Workday. 

Budget and Departmental Manager Reporting

In this training, we will go over how to make budget amendments, along with discretionary and non-discretionary budget to actual reporting.

Departmental Revenue/Invoicing

In this training, we will cover how to create customer invoices, create customers, do departmental sales reporting, along with procedural updates for departmental deposits.

*These workshops are designed for all UF employees and supervisors who manage budgets and other financial reports.
