Hello, Findlay!
Like many of our prior messages, we have suggested that the new Workday system will encompass many changes. These changes will help provide you access to maintain your own personal data. As development and testing of the new system continues, we wanted to take an opportunity to share a short demonstration of what is called “self service” in Workday. This brief tour will give you a look at what Workday could look like, provide an idea of what navigation in the system will feel like, as well as a glimpse into the future of how you can maintain your own data in self-service.
Please keep in mind while watching this short video that this was recorded in a demonstration environment called “Alma Mater University.” What you will see coming this July will look different, and the Worklets (or application icons you have available) will be different based on your role here at UF. We are working on building the user training, which will be available in the near future, but wanted to share this look at our future in Workday!
