Current and Upcoming Events

A Workday Student Stakeholder Workshop was held on December 19, 2019, with over 40 faculty/staff in attendance. The 2 1/2 hour workshop included activities aimed to identify diverse stakeholder groups that will be impacted by Workday Student. As a result, our Collaborative Solutions Organizational Change Lead recently completed a stakeholder analysis which will help guide and inform communications, readiness, and training strategies.

The Workday team is into the Architect Phase of the project, which will be ongoing through approximately the end of April, 2020.  In this part of the project we will be aligning direction, business process designs, data conversion, and developing communication and training strategies.  NOTE: a timeline for the Workday Student project can be found here: https://www.findlay.edu/ufworkday/

You've Asked. We're Here to Answer.

Q. Will a data group be formed to have input from all areas on campus on data decisions?

A. There have been many offices and people identified as stakeholders within the Workday Student project.  These folks are very much invested in attending meetings and provide information and input on not only data decisions, but also regarding implementation and training/communication strategies.  As the project continues there will be more opportunities to attend Focus Groups and other targeted meetings related to the project.

You can continue to use the Workday Student Contact Form to ask the team questions about the Workday Student product and implementation process. The team looks at the questions for themes, and we try to answer these questions in the Workday Wednesday emails. The form is always located at the bottom of UF Workday emails.
