Pre-Kindergarten Special Needs Endorsement

This program allows you to work with students with special needs in a pre-kindergarten setting. There is an extreme shortage of teachers with this endorsement in Ohio.

Reading Endorsement

The reading endorsement gives educators the knowledge base to effectively teach reading to all grade levels. It also fulfills the credentials required for the Ohio Department of Education's Third Grade Guarantee and you are required to pass a state examination to receive this endorsement. Findlay's reading endorsement is a series of five online graduate courses that can be taken in any order so it can be completed within one calendar year at your convenience.

Teacher Leader Endorsement

Teacher leaders are essential to the advancement of teaching and learning in Ohio’s schools. This coursework prepares you to have a voice and input on school improvement efforts.

Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Endorsement

Our TESOL endorsement prepares students to teach English Language Learners (ELL), the fastest growing population of school-aged children with more than 35,000 students in Ohio public schools alone.  Adding TESOL to your credentials can prepare you for careers in cross-cultural settings.
