University of Findlay's Office of Service and Community Engagement is a member of many local, state and national organizations. These descriptions have been taken from the organizations to which we belong.​


Ohio Campus Compact

Ohio Campus Compact is an organization of 46 colleges and universities established to support the development of campus-wide student and institutional participation in community and public service. Ohio Campus Compact envisions Ohio colleges and universities as centers of civic engagement and renewal where co-curricular and curricular learning, teaching, and scholarship, advance the public good, and prepare students for active citizenship and democratic participation. Ohio Campus Compact's mission is to provide statewide leadership in mobilizing resources, services, and partnerships that help Ohio colleges and universities deepen their ability to educate students for civic and social responsibility and to improve community life.

Hancock County Coordinating Council

The Hancock County Coordinating Council (HCCC) is an organization comprised of concerned individuals and professionals representing local agencies and businesses. The group networks through its members to keep abreast of current concerns and needs in the community. A Campus Compact staff member represents the University of Findlay on this council.
