Absolutely Incredible Kid Day was founded by the National Camp Fire U.S.A. to provide an opportunity for all children to receive a letter of encouragement on the exact same day. Student Activities Board has hosted their own A.I.K.D. in conjunction with the local Campfire U.S.A., Northwest Ohio Council, for numerous years.
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to write letters to their own children, little sibs, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, kids they coach, kids they teach, scouting troops, etc. There are also children in Hancock County who could really benefit from a letter of encouragement. The local Campfire U.S.A. provides lists of children's names and ages every year who need a letter of encouragement.
