Election Dates
Executive Board and Senate elections are held each April for the following academic year. Freshman Senators are elected each August when classes begin.
The Executive Board
Members of the student body elect members of the Executive Board of the Student Senate, which will consist of a President, Vice President, Sergeant-at-Arms, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Public Relations Officer, and Diversity/Equity/Inclusion Chair.
All candidates interested in serving on the Executive Board of SGA shall have served at The University of Findlay's Student Government Association Senate at least two full semesters.
Students wishing to run for SGA President must be in the rising undergraduate Junior or Senior Class. In addition, no more than two members of the Executive Board may be graduate students.
Individuals interested in SGA's Executive Board must complete an application and submit it to

The Senate
Comprised of 12 elected undergraduate students (3 from each class - Senior, Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman), and one graduate student who is appointed by The University of Findlay.
All candidates serving on the Student Government Senate shall come from each of their respective classes and be elected only by their classmates.

**All elected officers serving on SGA must be a registered full-time student and hold a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher**
