Workday Student Project Implementation Team
The Workday Student Project Implementation Team will oversee all phases of the project and will hold it accountable to timelines and project success. They will also ensure the project resides by our Guiding Principles and Goals established by the Steering Committee for the Workday project. A primary function of the Steering Committee will be vetting any desired changes to Workday’s best practice methodologies. Our guiding principles state we will “Embrace the solution as is”, meaning any deviation will require justification based on a need for competitive advantage or a similar case.

Steering Committee
The Steering Committee should manage by exception and will only become involved when resolutions cannot be formed by the Project Implementation Team, Workday Student Project Advisory Committee, or other Ad Hoc Committees. Workday Student Advisory Group
The membership of the Workday Student Project Advisory Group ensures that we will have an informed forum to do the following:
- Provide needed information on current processes/functions
- Consider and test approaches to new processes/functions
- Partner closely with the Workday Student Change Management team to help prepare for, implement, and sustain Workday Student related change in the respective area(s)
- Provides a two-way communication pathway:
- Inform the Workday implementation team of concerns/issues/ideas from multiple and diverse areas of UF
- The Workday implementation team informs members of implementation issues/developments (can then communicate back to their offices/depts/colleges)
- Make recommendations to the Workday Steering Committee regarding Workday Student Business Processes
- Make Recommendations to Academic Committees for Academic Policy changes.
