Summer Research Scholars Program

Application deadline is now closed.

The University of Findlay Summer Research Scholars Program will allow selected undergraduate student to engage in summer research projects being led by top faculty at the University of Findlay.

This summer, UF undergraduate students will be selected to spend six weeks working on research and creative projects that they are passionate about. Students will get valuable faculty mentorship and a $2,000 stipend (to offset income, living and transportation expenses) to work on their research. This opportunity is open to any current rising senior who has a research idea and the drive to pursue it.

The program, Summer Research Scholars, is the focus of a UF Goal Getter Grant proposal secured by Edward Nyman, Jr., Ph.D., in June 2016.  Nyman felt that UF should “catch the wave of research proliferation that is spreading among liberal arts colleges nationwide.”

Eligibility

Rising senior UF undergraduate students and/or those who will graduate from UF in the spring of 2017 and are enrolled to being a graduate program AT UF in Fall 2017. (3+2/3 program students in the summer before transitioning into graduate coursework are also eligible).
