University of Findlay's online Master of Arts in Education allows you to take the next step in your career while working around your schedule as a busy professional. There is no set class time where you need to be attached​ to your computer. We give you the attention and support to complete the work in your own time. While you can finish your degree in as few as 18​ months, the courses you take can be applied to your degree for up to 7 years.

The coursework required for this strand is the same courses required for the Reading Endorsement. This is a great option for educators looking to advance their careers, but may not be ready for a full masters workload.

STEAM - Science, ​Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math 

​T​hese courses focus on topics such as leading innovation in schools today, inquiry-based science instruction, science and technology for educators, differentiated instruction, children’s literature across the curri​culum, and school leadership, participants learn concepts online that can be readily applied in the classroom the next day.

2019 National Council on Teacher Quality study of 124 large school districts throughout the country found that 92% of all districts paid their teachers more for holding an advanced degree.

At the high school level, teachers who hold a master’s degree generally earn somewhere in the range of $79,820 – $99,660 nationally. Compare that to the $49,060 – $61,660 they would likely make with a bachelor’s. On a state-by-state basis, here’s what you can expect to earn as a high school teacher with a master’s degree (75th-90th percentile salary range):

With a master’s degree, middle school teachers can expect to earn somewhere in the range of $76,430 – $96,280 on a national basis, versus the $47,850 – $59,660 they would likely make with a bachelor’s. On a state-by-state basis, here’s what you can expect to earn as a middle school teacher with a master’s degree (75th-90th percentile salary range):

With a master’s degree, elementary school teachers can expect to earn somewhere in the range of $77,400 – $97,900 on a national basis, versus the $47,300 to $59,670 they might earn with a bachelor’s. On a state-by-state basis, here’s what you can expect to earn as an elementary school teacher with a master’s degree (75th-90thpercentile salary range):
