Course schedules are managed in Workday. College Deans, Department Chairs, and Administrative Assistants have the ability to create or cancel course sections and make edits to both preliminary and published schedules. Each year, course schedules are rolled forward to the next academic calendar one year in advance. Finalized schedules are published approximately one month before registration opens.
Course Cross-Listing Form
The Canvas Cross-Listing Form is used when you are teaching two classes and would like them combined in Canvas into one class. The Parent Course will be the main course that you are teaching that you want everything combined into. The Child Course is the secondary course that you want to be combined into the main course. If there is a Secondary instructor for the Parent or Child course, you enter their information in the appropriate area of this form. After you complete this form and hit Submit, a ticket is automatically generated and sent to the appropriate Academic Technology Support individual for processing. Please allow for sufficient time for processing and then check Canvas to ensure your requested courses are cross-listed properly.
