Mark has programmed PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) for many years, integrated PLC’s into plant networks and started various projects for production monitoring processes. He has HMI (Human Machine Interface) programming and installation experience.

Ruth Ann has managed a variety of large and small teams from new development to maintenance releases to support to customer escalation. She has overseen many new software releases for Microsoft products and automated test teams. Ruth Ann’s breadth and depth of knowledge spans across all types of industries. She enjoys helping companies maximize the return on their investments in business software.  

John Farhat is a serial technology innovator, community leader, and first‑generation builder of resilient, forward‑looking enterprises. As the head of a family office encompassing a diversified portfolio of technology businesses.

John leads The Technology Group, Inc. (www.thetechgroup.com), a family‑owned holding company overseeing multiple technology ventures spanning managed services, communications infrastructure, cybersecurity risk mitigation. Three of his four children are actively involved in the businesses, reflecting John’s commitment to intentional succession, governance, and multigenerational sustainability—a hallmark of enduring family enterprises.

Throughout his career, John Farhat has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to anticipate market needs years ahead of mainstream adoption. In 2004, when John introduced the Technology Service Bureau, a centralized, standards‑driven model for delivering computing, storage, and application services. At the time, the concept predated the widespread use of the term private cloud, which would not emerge as a dominant enterprise model until later in the decade.

One of the earliest services launched within the Technology Service Bureau was a Voice over IP (VoIP) platform in 2005. This capability later evolved into a standalone company, Loquantur, Inc. (www.loquantur.com), which specializes in highly secure, rule‑based call management systems for mission‑critical environments.

Recognizing that many organizations struggle not with running technology, but with managing risk and resilience, John spearheaded the launch of Mission Control Cyber Center (www.mscix.com) for risk mitigation, emphasizing governance, controls, and measurable reduction of operational risk.

As part of the family office’s investment strategy, John supported the growth of Open JFS, LLC (www.openjfs.com), an embedded instant payments platform enabling businesses to access real‑time banking services 24/7/365 without leaving their own applications.

Most recently, John was the primary force behind the formation of the AI Freedom Alliance (AIFA) (www.aifalliance.org), a nonprofit organization dedicated to AI education, ethical adoption, and governance. As President, John has brought together CIOs, legal experts, and public‑sector leaders—including representatives with military and attorney general experience – to create a balanced, practical approach to AI deployment.

Cody is a graduate of the University of Findlay, where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics. He is now working at Marathon Petroleum company as a software engineer and technical lead. Previous work experiences include working deskside support for the University of Findlay, website designer for local businesses, and miscellaneous freelance projects.

William H. Kose, MD, JD, serves as vice president of special projects at Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS). Previously, he has served the health system as chief medical officer of Blanchard Valley Medical Practices from 2012 to 2019, senior vice president of medical affairs from 1991 to 2012 and chief quality officer from 2012 to 2017. Prior to his employment at BVHS, he co-founded Blanchard Valley Medical Associates (BVMA) and practiced internal medicine from 1974 to 2002. Dr. Kose obtained his medical degree from The Ohio State University and completed his internship and residency at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. While practicing internal medicine at BVMA, he obtained his law degree from Ohio Northern University in 1985. Dr. Kose currently serves on the University of Findlay and the City Mission boards, and as Medical Director of Hancock Public Health. He is also a Baldrige Examiner for the Ohio Partnership for Excellence, a member of the Ohio State Medical Association and the Ohio Patient Safety Institute.

Jeremy Scheiderer is a Senior Solution Architect at Marathon Petroleum Corporation with over 26 years of experience in IT, software development, and enterprise architecture. His technology journey began in the late 1990s when he installed his first network and soon after founded CompNet Integrated Solutions, delivering end-to-end IT services across networking, web development, and VoIP systems. He later spent over a decade at Tour de Force, Inc., advancing to Vice President of DevOps where he led product development, cloud modernization, and enterprise technology strategy.

Since joining Marathon Petroleum in 2019, Jeremy has held multiple leadership roles spanning business analysis, product ownership, and architecture. In his current role, he focuses on AI enablement, data contextualization, and digital transformation across Refining and Midstream. His work centers on building modern architectures that drive operational efficiency, enable digital twin capabilities, and deliver measurable business outcomes through DevSecOps and FinOps practices.

Jeremy is also passionate about education, community, and continuous learning. He served for nine years as an adjunct instructor at Owens Community College, mentoring students in computer fundamentals and networking. He recently completed the MIT Professional Education program in Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation, reinforcing his focus on responsible AI adoption. In the Findlay community, he is an active member of Flag City Rotary, supporting local service and engagement initiatives.

Rob Solomon graduated from the University of Findlay in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and has his Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University (2022). While an undergrad, Rob was involved with the Eta Mu Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity, Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), Student Government Association (SGA), and Aristos Eklektos. After graduating from the University of Findlay, Rob joined Interactive Digital Solutions (IDS) as an Audio/Visual (AV) Technician and worked his way through the company as an AV Installer, a Programmer, Sales Engineer, Director of Healthcare and Sales Engineering, and Vice President of Product. In 2023, Rob and another VP were able to purchase IDS and continue to guide it to this day. Rob married Rebecca (University of Findlay class of 2002) in 2005 and share three wonderful children. Rob has also volunteered as coach for a variety of soccer, basketball, and baseball teams for his kids (too many seasons to count) and has been a district and league soccer president in Northwest Ohio. Jordan was a young entrepreneur that took over his current role while studying Business Management in college. He has been overseeing managed IT services for businesses in the Findlay area for over 10 years. Jordan also has extensive experience is setting up IT infrastructure for new and expanding businesses as well as consulting with those businesses for best IT practices.

Loren began his Information Technology career in the United States Air Force. Currently, he is actively engaged in helping organizations become more secure, resilient, and compliant by performing risk assessments and providing advisory services based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-171, and the DoD’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.

In his 40+ year career, Loren held global senior management positions for a major manufacturer in information security, networking, and data center operations. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Risk Services for CentraComm, a Findlay, Ohio based managed services provider. A part-time lecturer at the University of Findlay for more than 20 years, he played a major role in the development of their Information Assurance Program.

Loren holds a Doctorate in Information Assurance from the University of Fairfax, four degrees from The University of Findlay including an MBA and a BS in Technology Management. A Certified Information Security Professional, he also holds a Certificate in Security Management from the National Defense University.
