About the Performing Arts
At the University of Findlay, you can pursue your career and be a part of several opportunities in the performing arts including theatre productions, band, and choral performances. We offer a music minor, a theatre minor, choral and instrumental ensembles, and numerous theatre productions every year. Students in the performing arts programs have opportunities to perform on and off campus at various events throughout the year.
The University also offers a minor in musical arts and a minor in theatre.
We also encourage students to attend performances throughout the year to support our student performers!

Community Music Programs
Several of our music programs are open to community members. Throughout the academic year, both the Symphonic Band and Concert-Chorale (listed above) welcome participation from the broader community. The University of Findlay also hosts summer music programs, including the Findlay Civic Band and Findlay Civic Choir, which are open to students, faculty/staff, and community members. No auditions are required for these summer ensembles.
