About Town and Campus
On December 12, 1960, Dr. O.J. Wilson, president of (then) Findlay College, organized a women’s auxiliary to act as a communication channel with the public and to serve as a liaison between the college and the community. (The group also held tea parties and offered bridge lessons for female students.) In 1961, the organization changed its name to Town and Campus and soon began raising money to support Findlay students with scholarships and emergency loans. In 2019, its name was changed to Findlay Town and Campus.
Current members continue the mission of Findlay Town and Campus by learning about the work and programs of the University, participating in campus activities, and raising money to award scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.
