Faculty/Staff Tuition Remission Application
Tuition Remission Application Process
Before accessing the new Tuition Remission Application, the student must be registered for the term and, if the student has not yet earned a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, have completed a FAFSA. The FAFSA must be completed before the remission application can be submitted.
Employees will need to complete the application for themselves, their spouse, and/or children. Upon submission, the application will be sent to Human Resources to verify the employee is eligible for the benefit and determine if it’s a taxable benefit. Please note, the taxation review by the Office of Human Resources must be completed each semester. Financial Aid will award the Tuition Remission once the workflow is complete.
Tuition Remission Deadline
The submission deadline will be 30 days before the term starts for current students. The submission deadline for new students will be 30 days before the term starts or upon registration of classes, whichever is later. This application must be completed for each semester of which an employee or qualified individual is seeking to obtain tuition remission benefits.
