I chose UF because of its outstanding pharmacy program. During my campus visit, the environment immediately felt welcoming and comfortable, almost like a second home. I’m also minoring in gerontology with the goal of becoming a geriatric pharmacist! Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in geriatric care, minor programs, or building connections on campus!

I chose UF due to the BGSU/UF dual pharmacy program — the best of a large public school and a small private one. My time at UF has been opportunistic and academically challenging, with great 1-on-1 support. Outside of school I enjoy college football, basketball, video games, and socializing with friends. Questions about the dual program? Reach out!

I’m Jamie, a 25-year-old proud mom in Michigan. I graduated from ASU in 2021 and, after 2 years of reflection, chose to pursue a PharmD. I chose Findlay for its distance learning options, impressive pass rates, and exceptional support from staff and advisors from day one. I can answer any questions about the distance program and time management!

I chose UF to study pharmacy because it has an amazing program while being close to my hometown. My interests have been piqued by compounding pharmacy and ambulatory care. Outside of academics I enjoy Phi Delta Chi, Pharmacy Student Leadership Council, Unwinding at UF (a crochet/knitting group), and Mortar Board. I’d love to be a resource for you!

I chose UF for their dual pharmacy program with BGSU and their outstanding campus community. I currently work as an intern, which has opened the pharmacy world and offered hands-on application. I’m a Distance Pathway student from Los Angeles. I completed undergraduate and graduate studies at USC, majoring in Neuroscience and Global Medicine. I chose Distance because I travel frequently while my husband completes medical school rotations. Even as a distance student, I’ve had more faculty interaction and support than ever before — it truly feels like I’m part of the campus community.

I’m Yvette, a PharmD distance student, wife, and mom from Edinburg, TX. I chose Findlay because of the passing rate, great communication, and support from recruiters, staff, and advisors. As a student away from campus, the support I’ve received helps close the distance gap. Happy to answer any questions about fitting the program into life away from the University.

I’m a P2 Distance Pathway student from San Juan, TX. Before pharmacy I spent four years teaching and worked as a licensed Occupational Therapist for twelve years. I chose Distance to balance academic goals with being a full-time mom to three boys. UF’s strong curriculum, excellent pass rates, and accessible faculty reinforced that I made the right choice. Happy to answer questions about the distance pathway or career transitions.

I was recommended to UF by an intern at my pharmacy. I took a gap year and worked full time as a pharmacy technician before deciding pharmacy was my path — heavily influenced by my CVS pharmacists. After attending Oiler Preview Day I immediately felt at home. I really love the class sizes, the student-to-professor ratio, and the ability to build real relationships with professors.

I chose UF for the class size and its distance from home — close enough yet independent. The small classes let you really get to know your professors and classmates. After graduation I want to pursue research in pharmaceutical science. My goal since freshman year has been to help other freshmen and prospective students. I’d love to help with any questions!

I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2020 with a Biomedical Science degree and spent a few years figuring out which path in medicine was right for me. Choosing to pursue my PharmD at UF has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. From my first conversation with enrollment coordinator Liz to today, I’ve always felt how much the faculty and staff care about student success.

I came to UF straight out of high school to pursue my goals of becoming a pharmacist. I consider myself driven to help people and hope to someday run my own clinic. Findlay was my choice for its small class size and hometown vibes — it reminds me of where I grew up. Outside of academics I spend time collecting video games and comics.

I chose UF because of its welcoming community that made me feel at home from the start. Professors take time to get to know each student personally and support us in achieving our goals inside and outside the classroom. It’s also incredibly easy to get involved — I’m a member of a pharmaceutical fraternity, SNPhA, Plant Club and more. Feel free to reach out if you have questions on how to get involved!

I chose pharmacy because of my passion for healthcare and the many future opportunities this degree offers. Being in the College of Pharmacy at UF, I’ve already made close connections with faculty and peers. The faculty are focused on ensuring you understand the content, which is what drew me to Findlay in the first place. I love all the clubs and extracurricular activities available — there’s something here for everyone.

I chose UF for its strong pharmacy program and welcoming atmosphere from the faculty and staff. It has a small-school feel with many things to do off campus in the community. The program provides a transparent path to your PharmD and opens doors to many careers — from community and hospital pharmacy to specialized fields like nuclear pharmacy. Being here has provided many great opportunities within my first year to start research and join clubs.

UF’s Pharmacy program was my goal since junior year of high school. The welcoming environment from faculty and professors was unlike anything I’d seen elsewhere. I chose pharmacy for my love of community, helping people, and learning how medications work in the body. I’m in a professional pharmacy fraternity, Kappa Epsilon, and serve as a YoungLife leader for Findlay High School. Feel free to contact me at any time!
