About the Oiler Success Center
The Oiler Success Center (OSC) serves as a centralized hub designed to support students in navigating their academic journey. Through a student-centered approach, the OSC assists individuals in problem-solving, increases awareness of campus resources, and provides guidance to enhance overall student success. The Success Center centralizes institutional efforts that support student advocacy and retention by engaging students in meaningful ways that promote persistence, progression, and successful graduation outcomes.

We provide personalized guidance and resources including resume and cover letter assistance, interview preparation, internship and job search support, and career exploration tools across all majors.

About Academic Advising
To help our faculty be prepared to best advise our students, the University takes a comprehensive approach that includes analyzing career exploration and monitoring a student’s success toward those goals. Advisors meet with their students regularly throughout the semester to make sure they are still on a path to success and serve as mentors and sounding boards for students as they navigate through their time at UF.
