Position Description

The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking an assistant director, responsible for assisting with the organization and implementation of on-campus opportunities for religious life as coordinated through the Campus Ministry department, as delegated by Student Affairs. These responsibilities include program coordination, supervision of student leadership, community engagement, and spiritual formation.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with six months of work experience is required. Candidates must possess leadership experience in church/parachurch ministry; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated program coordination and organizational skills; and credentialed by the Great Lakes Conference or willing to obtain credentialing within first year.

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area travel may be expected. A valid US Drivers’ license with a safe driving record is required.

This is a twelve-month full-time position. General hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to the nature of the job, this position will occasionally require working during evenings and on weekends and some travel.
