Join us for the University of Findlay graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex. The ceremonies will broadcast live by UFTV on its YouTube Channel: UFTV Productions. Commencement is a formal event and all graduates are required to wear a University of Findlay cap and gown. How do I order my cap and gown?
After February 13, stop by the Bookstore to order your cap and gown or visit the bookstore website, https://shop.findlay.edu/ and download the regalia order form. Orders cannot be taken over the phone, as it violates our PCI compliance agreement. You are expected to pay for your cap and gown at the time it is ordered. Prices for regalia are by degree: undergraduate, $73; master’s, $97; and doctoral, $122. A late fee will be charged starting March 20. For more information, visit the University Bookstore site.

At the rehearsal, you will "walk through" the entire ceremony and the reading of your name will be rehearsed so that you have the opportunity to correct the pronunciation. For the graduate ceremony rehearsal, graduates should bring their hoods for practice.

College First Church of God Sanctuary
All graduates and family members are encouraged to attend this ecumenical worship service open to graduates and family members of all faiths. This religious service is organized and directed by your classmates. Cap and gown are not required for this event.

GRADUATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
8 a.m. – Doors open to the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Center. NO TICKETS ARE REQUIRED.
8:15 a.m. – Graduate students must report to the Student Recreation Center. A University of Findlay cap, gown and hood are required. Staff will be available to help you prepare for the procession.
9 a.m. – The formal procession will begin promptly. Guests should be seated and ready for the procession. The ceremony begins in the Malcolm Athletic Center of the Koehler Complex.
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. • Alumni Memorial Union – Reservations required. The University of Findlay cordially invites you to attend a Commencement Day Brunch on Saturday, May 5.
Register for the brunch here. Adults: $18; Children: $9 (ages 6-12); Children: free (ages 5 and under); Graduates: complimentary. All reserved tickets will be available at the registration table. UNDERGRADUATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

Griffith Memorial Arch Ceremony
The traditional arch ceremony will immediately follow the conclusion of the graduate and undergraduate ceremonies. A recessional will be played, and graduates will be led in a formal line of march through the Griffith Memorial Arch in front of Old Main, marking the completion of their time at the University of Findlay. Students enter through the Arch as freshmen and they are welcomed by the faculty and staff who will guide them down the path to a meaningful life and productive career. When they march back through the Arch at graduation they have been transformed into more knowledgeable, confident, service-oriented and informed individuals.

We have arranged for a photo to be taken of each graduate receiving his or her diploma. Please allow two weeks for delivery of proofs. You may also order online at www.graduationfoto.com. Photos of the arch ceremony may be downloaded by going to http://www.flickr.com/photos/uf_images/
