​​​Information Technology Services

ITS plays a key role in supporting the University of Findlay's efforts to establish an environment where the application of technology enhances and improves teaching, learning, research, and University operations. To accomplish these broad goals, ITS is organized into six inter-related areas:

  • Academic Technology Services: Offers faculty the training and technology resources needed to successfully integrate new technologies into teaching and other academic endeavors. UF staff also benefit from relevant training and tools.
  • Learning Space Technology and Services: Manages the technology in general-purpose classrooms and conference rooms.
  • Servers, Storage, Networking, and Telecommunications: Provides wired and wireless Internet access, telephone services, cable TV, UFnet accounts, and server-based products like Canvas, email, calendar, and the MyFindlay portal.
  • Technology Support Services: Primary point of contact for ITS services, providing Help Desk and support services to students, faculty, and staff.
  • University Information Services: Supports and enhances the University's administrative student information system and custom applications for internal operations.
  • Web Services: Enhances the University's web and mobile presence by creating engaging websites and mobile apps for students, faculty, and staff.
