    Dr. Lucas brings over thirty years of experience in the Criminal Justice System to the classroom retiring in June of 2004.  He served as a Supervisory Special Agent with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation supervising all phases of criminal investigations related to Homicide, Organized Crime, Public Official Corruption, Financial Crimes, Sex Crimes, Child Abuse and Neglect, and Crime Scenensic Investigations.  Dr. Lucas was assigned to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force and is a Certified Fraud Examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

    Dr. Lucas served as an adjunct faculty member for twelve years in the Criminal Justice Department at The University of Findlay and Owens Community College. Career activities include participation with several consulting and research projects with The United States Department of Justice, National Institute of Justice Investigative Software Evaluation Committee. The Ohio Department of Education Board of Regents Criminal Justice Curriculum Review Committee, and the OACP Legislative Review Committee for DNA Technology. Research interests include crime scene technology as it relates to investigation, documentation and reconstruction, criminal justice policy issues relating to terrorism, and criminal justice administration.
