    Dr. SeaHwa Jung is Director of Choral Activities.  He directs Concert-Chorale and University Singers and also teaches Voice and Music Appreciation.

    Dr. Jung started his conducting career during undergraduate studies at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, where he obtained a musical background in voice and keyboard, and the experiences allowed him to direct various choirs during his master’s studies at the Colorado State University.  After earning his doctorate in conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, he became Founder and Artistic Director of JS Chamber Ensemble, where he was able to use all his skills and experiences to create and conduct a professional orchestra.

    Prior to the appointment at the University of Findlay, Dr. Jung directed ensembles including all the choral ensembles and orchestra and taught music appreciation, music history, conducting, foreign diction, and various singing classes at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.  His teaching experiences broadened through teaching graduate level classes at the College-Conservatory of Music and high school music classes at the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy High School.  

    Dr. Jung resides in Findlay with his wife, Su Jung, who is an organist and their four children, Grace, Daniel, Hannah, and Abigail.
