The Education for Business and Community Settings major gives you the opportunity to turn your passion for teaching, communication, and leadership into a career with many possibilities. You’ll prepare to create engaging learning experiences, lead programs, and help others grow in places like museums, parks and recreation programs, community organizations, nonprofits, government agencies, human resources departments, and corporate training environments. With a flexible, interdisciplinary education, you’ll develop valuable skills that can take you in many different career directions. Course Requirements
Coursework in the Education for Business and Community Settings major combines education, communication, leadership, and interdisciplinary studies to prepare students to create meaningful learning experiences outside of traditional K–12 classrooms. Students will develop skills in instructional design, program development, communication, leadership, and working with diverse audiences in a variety of professional settings.
