The University of Findlay’s Business Analytics program prepares students to thrive in a data-driven business environment where informed decision-making is a competitive advantage. As organizations increasingly rely on data to guide strategy and operations, this program equips students with the skills to collect, analyze, and interpret complex information. 

Through our Business Administration program with an emphasis in Business Analytics, students gain hands-on experience using industry-relevant tools and real-world data. The curriculum emphasizes practical application, helping students translate data into meaningful insights that drive business success. Graduates develop strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, preparing them to confidently transition from the classroom to professional roles. The program also offers a seamless pathway for students interested in continuing their education through the University of Findlay’s Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Course Requirements

Students earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics must complete the following curriculum.

Hands-On Experience

Students represented the university in the National Collegiate Analytics Competition, tackling real-world business scenarios alongside teams from across the country. The competition strengthens analytical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills.

The Oiler 10 student-run, faculty-mentored marketing and consulting agency, in which students gain authentic hands-on experience by providing support and solutions to real businesses and organizations. The group also has opportunities to travel and learn from agencies and businesses around the country.   

Delta Mu Delta is the exclusive business honor society recognized by the ACBSP that encourages academic excellence of students at qualifying colleges and universities to create a DMD community that fosters the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership. 

The University of Findlay College of Business and Humanities Dana Chair/Scholar Program provides business students the opportunity to connect higher education with the real world of business. Dana Scholars are chosen each semester by the College of Business and Humanities faculty and are recognizes as outstanding students for their academic and leadership skills. Dana Scholars network with and learn from an area business professional who serves as the Dana Chair for the academic year.
