Marketing today goes beyond promotion—it requires understanding consumer behavior, analyzing data, and creating campaigns that drive engagement and measurable results.
Students earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing Emphasis, gaining a well-rounded foundation in areas such as digital marketing, market research, branding, and strategic communication. The curriculum emphasizes both creativity and analytics, helping students learn how to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions from the customer’s perspective. The Oiler 10 student-run, faculty-mentored marketing and consulting agency, in which students gain authentic hands-on experience by providing support and solutions to real businesses and organizations. The group also has opportunities to travel and learn from agencies and businesses around the country.
Delta Mu Delta is the exclusive business honor society recognized by the ACBSP that encourages academic excellence of students at qualifying colleges and universities to create a DMD community that fosters the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership.
The Pulse Media gives students hands-on experience creating content across print, broadcast, radio, podcasting, social media, and digital storytelling. Through The Pulse, UFTV, and 88.3 WLFC, students collaborate with experienced advisers to produce real content for real audiences while building professional portfolios and media skills.
From broadcasting, reporting or producing, you will have a number of opportunities to practice your skills throughout UF Digital Media Club which includes the University’s newspaper and television and radio stations.
Marketing Club activities include Extreme Marketing Makeovers – (team competition to develop marketing ideas for small business), SWOT teams – (develop quick solutions for small businesses), assisting small businesses, on-campus activities like Deck the Trees, and more!
The University of Findlay College of Business and Humanities Dana Chair/Scholar Program provides business students the opportunity to connect higher education with the real world of business. Dana Scholars are chosen each semester by the College of Business and Humanities faculty and are recognizes as outstanding students for their academic and leadership skills. Dana Scholars network with and learn from an area business professional who serves as the Dana Chair for the academic year.
