Work toward teaching an approved subject across grade levels through Findlay’s Multi-Age Licensure pathway. The program is designed for eligible bachelor’s degree holders seeking an Ohio teaching credential.
- Choose a teaching area. Explore Health and Physical Education or Visual Arts.
- Practice in schools. Complete a six-week methods field experience and a full semester of student teaching.
- Consider graduate study. The pathway describes five additional graduate courses toward Findlay’s Master of Arts in Education.
Candidates must meet applicable Ohio testing and licensure requirements. If you plan to teach in another state, confirm that state’s eligibility rules.

Course Requirements
Candidates take the required education courses, depending on the undergraduate degree more content courses may be required. Teacher candidates must pass the Ohio Assessments for Educators tests in content and pedagogy. A master’s degree can be added with five additional courses.
