About the Program
The University of Findlay Biology program prepares students for a wide range of scientific and professional pathways, from hands-on biological research to advanced study in the health sciences. Whether your goal is to explore biodiversity, study antibiotic resistance, or pursue a career in medicine, veterinary medicine, or physician assistant studies, this program provides the strong scientific foundation and practical skills needed for success.
We also offer a Biology degree with a Pre-Med emphasis for students wishing to pursue medical school upon graduation.

Admission Requirements
To apply to the University of Findlay, you’ll need a high school diploma from an accredited school (or a GED) with a college prep curriculum. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required. UF recommends taking 4 years of English, 3 years of math, 3 years of social studies, 2 years of science, and 2 years of a foreign language. ACT or SAT scores are optional.
International students must submit English proficiency test scores — such as a TOEFL (iBT) of at least 61 or an IELTS of at least 6.0 — unless their previous schooling was taught in English. Students who don’t meet the requirement may enroll in UF’s Intensive English Program.
