Transfer Admission Process

  1. Apply now. It's free!

    (If you are planning to major in one of our health professions programs or are transferring from an accredited business school, you may have additional criteria to meet in order to ensure all of your credits transfer to Findlay).

  2. Submit all final official transcrip​ts that are from college-level institutions, high schools previously attended and if you participated in a College Credit Plus program. Final transcripts must be received and evaluated before acceptance or class registration.

  3. Submit your $200 deposit after you have been admitted.
    *If currently enrolled at another institution, final transcripts will need to be submitted upon completion of classes.

After Your Deposit Is Received 

  1. Complete the online housing sign up through The Housing Director (THD) as soon as possible to reserve your first choice of residence hall.

  2. Health form received and returned.

  3. Physical form received and returned (athletes only).

  4. Payment plan information sent out by Findlay Business Office (Spring).

  5. Meal Plan information sent out. 

If You Filed The FAFSA With Your Previous Institution

  1. Make sure the University of Findlay is added to your FAFSA - the Findlay school code is: 003045.

  2. After Findlay has received all official transcripts, Merit scholarships are available for transfer students.

  3. Receive your financial aid estimated award letter.
(Aid awards may be reduced late in the awarding year based on University's aid budget and number of awards made)


Registration and Orientation 

  1. Your transfer admissions counselor will introduce you to your academic advisor. You can register for classes remotely or on campus.​​

  2. Credits transfer easily to Findlay! Students can access Transferology for an unofficial transcript evaluation.
