Helping Hands Community Movie Night

Community Movie Night is more than just a fun evening under the stars. It brings families, friends, students, and community members together for a great cause while celebrating the spirit of giving back.
Join us for a special screening of Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! and help us Toon in to Fight Hunger by supporting the University of Findlay Helping Hands Food Drive. Admission is simple: bring a non-perishable food donation to benefit CHOPIN Hall, helping local individuals and families in need. Guests can enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities before the movie with the purchase of activity tickets, including a coloring contest, fun games, popcorn, cotton candy, and refreshing drinks. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, get cozy under the stars, and enjoy an evening filled with Halloween fun.
This event also serves as the official kickoff of the 5th Annual Hancock Area Schools Food Drive Competition. Participants can support their favorite school by placing food or monetary donations in the appropriate collection bins. Every donation helps schools compete for the coveted Golden Can Award, encouraging friendly competition while making a meaningful impact on hunger in our community.
Together, we’re turning a movie night into an opportunity to make a difference, proving that when our community comes together, even small donations can create a big impact.
One movie. One community. One mission: Fight hunger.
