Move-in for new students
Check-in at Alumni Memorial Union, Multi-Purpose Room
Students should check in at the AMU to get their key. Families are encouraged to park close to their child's dorm hall. Signage will indicate unloading zones. UF faculty, staff, and students will also be available to assist with moving items from your vehicle to your child's room.

Dropping your child off at college can be difficult. This session will provide helpful advice and guidance from UF leaders plus include a Q&A session. You'll also have the opportunity to write letters to your child that they'll receive after your departure.
Arch Ceremony
Griffith Memorial Arch
The Arch Ceremony has been a campus tradition since 1923. New students walk through the Griffith Memorial Arch toward Old Main during our new student Arch Ceremony each fall, which signifies their entrance into their college career, and do not walk back out of the Arch until their graduation ceremony, which signifies the beginning of their careers as University of Findlay alumni.
