About the Program

The University of Findlay’s Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management degree was developed with leaders from the field. You will gain an understanding of the technical an legal issues but will also learn management principles to have a seat at the table to make lasting change. The program will provide graduates with the skills required to make managerial decisions and lead initiatives in environmental, safety, and occupational health areas. This interdisciplinary program combines science, occupational health, environmental policy, and business principles to equip graduates with the knowledge needed to manage complex regulatory, environment, safety, and environmental health challenges.

Students can tailor their education by choosing between two emphasis areas—Environmental Health or Safety Leadership —allowing them to focus on their career goals while developing both technical expertise and management capabilities. This program is uniquely qualified to offer EHAC accreditation, and in addition, the Safety Leadership emphasis is also recognized as a BCSP Qualified academic program which leads to the Graduate Safety Practitioner designation upon graduation.
