Founders' Son and Daughter Awards

The University of Findlay's Founders' Son and Daughter Awards are annually conferred upon two students who most exemplify the ideals of the founding fathers. Those ideals include high achievement in scholarship, leadership, service to others, and demonstrated personal integrity in and out of the classroom.

Recipients are recognized during the Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity awards ceremony in the spring. Each recipient is awarded a framed certificate and $1,000.

Criteria:
Students must have enough credits to be considered a senior, a GPA of 3.0 or higher and should be actively involved on campus.

Nomination Process:
Nominations are submitted by faculty and staff to the Office of Student Affairs, which reviews all nominations and carefully examines each student's academic and extra-curricular involvement on campus to determine by vote which male and female student receives the award each year.
