The library has the following technologies available to UF students, faculty, and staff for use in the library.
- Laptops (Windows & Macs) for 2-hour loan. In library use only.
- Computer workstations.
- Print release station. You can also scan documents & send to your email.
- One-Button Studio for recording videos for class projects or lectures.
- Sound booth for making audio recordings.
Knowledge Bar (ITS Help Desk)
The Knowledge Bar offers walk-in technology assistance to students, faculty and staff and is available during regular building hours.
ITS Makerspace
Located in the Shafer Library basement, ITS's student-run Makerspace is a welcoming spot for UF students, faculty, and staff to explore creative tools and equipment...and bring ideas to life. Stop by to get inspired, see what others are making, and sign up for an appointment to start your own project!
