At the University of Findlay, students have access to numerous hands-on labs and spaces: computer labs (including high-performance computers and a newly acquired quantum computer), three distinct farms (Animal Science center, English Equestrian and Western Equestrian), and science labs in the Brewer-Frost building and the Davis Street Building.
Beyond the farms and labs, students apply what they learn through undergraduate research, internships, and real-world projects. Students gain practical experience that prepares them for careers, graduate study, and solving complex scientific challenges.

Welcome to the College of Sciences!
The College of Sciences hosts seven departments: Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Studies; Biology; Computer Science; Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health; Equestrian and Equine Studies; Mathematics; and Physical Sciences. Here, you will find links to all the academic programs offered by these departments. We also provide options to pursue engineering programs, medical schools, and veterinary schools. All our programs are characterized by small classes, faculty advisors, and hands-on learning. We encourage you to contact us for more information.

The College of Sciences offers multiple scholarships that help reduce the cost of tuition. All undergraduate students receive some type of scholarship or aid to attend. All undergraduate students are eligible for the Choose Ohio First Scholarship.
