NMI cooperates with a number of approved affiliate health care institutions and nuclear pharmacies for the clinical internship of its students. Clinical affiliates can be found in 12 different states: Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas and Virginia.
A conjoint advisory committee with a representative from each affiliate health care institution, college and radiopharmacy provides guidance for curriculum development and helps in assessing the program's needs.
