Meet the Coach: Jill Jewett
Jill Jewett has been involved in the equine industry for over 30 years. After graduating from the University of Findlay in 1988, her experiences include over 20 years at The University of Findlay as an equestrian/pre-vet admissions coordinator, instructor, trainer, and camp coordinator. Jill has competed at USEA recognized horse trials through the preliminary level and has shown at USDF and USHJA recognized competitions. In addition, she has roots in western riding and has an appreciation for all breeds and disciplines. Jill also has been judging for over 20 years and has had an USEF “r" license in Hunters, Hunter/Jumping Seat Equitation, and Jumpers since 2012. She became the Head English Trainer for St. George Equestrian Center in 2012, Whitehouse, Ohio and successfully coached Bowling Green State University's Hunt Seat Equestrian Team from 2012-2016. Jill continues to develop effective riders in dressage and jumping that have a solid position. Her passion is evident as she loves helping riders of all ages reach their goals and fulfill their dreams while developing horses to their greatest potential. Jill returned to the University of Findlay's English equestrian program in 2019 as an instructor and is also the Head Coach for the IDA team.
